Goal: Click on shapes to open new pages.

Notes - Draw characters or objects for your project. Select, copy and paste each one into a shape.
- Hatch a turtle for each character or object, and place one of the shapes on it.
- Draw a background for your first page.
- Create several more pages for your project. Rename them to describe each page. Use one-word names, or connect two words with an underline (_). Include text and drawings (or turtles wearing shapes).
Leave your first page named page1. The startup procedure will open that page as soon as the project is opened. If you don't have a startup procedure that opens a specific page, then the project will open on the page that was current when the project was last saved.
- On the first page, right-click/ctrl-click on each turtle to open its dialog box. For its instruction, write the name of a page. Click OK. The page will open when this turtle is clicked.
(It's a good idea if the character or object has something to do with the page that opens when that turtle is clicked.)
- Be sure that you have a way to move from each page back to page1 or to another page. (For instance, you could place the back arrow shape on a turtle and give that turtle the instruction, page1.)
What If?
Can you click on a turtle to open a page if that page has a two-word name?
Challenge
Can you travel from page to page using forward arrows as well as back arrows?
