I had misremembered what you had written in your introduction to the lesson.
I thought you had said you could use it to write Logo procedures. In fact
here are your exact words:
"The projects presented here allow you to try out some of the LOGO commands
and write your own LOGO programs."
I was interpreting your use of the term "Logo programs" to mean procedures.
Oh well!
Maybe we can capitalize on these commands: "newtext," "newbutton," and
"newslider," along with their accompanying "set" commands, to allow online
users to create and control variables even without being able to create and
save procedures, as long as we set up some shell procedures for running the
contents of one or more textboxes. It is worthy attempting an experiment.

To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
