Hi Wendy,
I'm in! Thanks for the invite. As may know, I only have an eval of MW
Pro. I will be acquiring a personnal copy in the very near future. In the
mean time, I'll read up on the previous postings to catch up.
My main interest in MW Pro is in it's own unique features. I assume that
it has a greater following than other fee based LOGO software and probably
rules the K-8(?) Market. Am I right?
Also, I will start teaching Brendan. email= TheAnimeWizard@xxxx via
direct e-mail and will cross-post to this group. Perhaps you folks can help
me teach this 14 year old how to use MAKE.
For those of you in this group that are not in LogoForum, here's a brief.
1. Brendan posted to the LogoForum a question on how to use SETY.
2. He got several sood answers. I chose to cut&paste the MW Pro Help
definition.
3. I sensed fro his reply that he was a kid. So I began to "entice" him
to ask more questions.
4. I tried to draw him in, then I wondered if he wasn't an adult.
5. Anyway, he asked about MAKE and got a few surprised "You don't know
MAKE?" from the LogoForum.
6. I then "blew" my cover and asked him ig he wanted to try "distance
learning"
7. The short of it is : We both have a downloaded copy of LCSI's frogger
program. We are going to use that as the starting point in our discussions.
I will spend time, right now, to decide how I will approach the teaching
of MAKE using the above example as the basis of our discussion. After I'm
done, I will post to this group. Please comment on my cyber-course
approach.
:-) edwin

Re: Distance Learning or the e-mail format...
To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
