Sorry Jean, it's probably my fault!
One way I limit the number of e-mails from any forum is to change my
preference to a daily digest. When I want to follow a thread, then I
go on-line. With LogoForum, I am currently set to daily email. And
since I have a cable model, I get the postings almost instantly. I
prefer this method at the present time so I can be more interactive
with my postings.
For example, I am currently reading up on a posting to a thread I'm
exploring to the maximum : Catalyst in the Learning Equation.
I just read this post this morning:
"I would add Alfie Kohn (www.alfiekohn.org) as someone who discusses
the many ways that rewards can result in the *opposite* of what one
intends."
My sense is that this particular posting would have mothers in the
forum responding. In fact, as soon as I find this particular article
by Alfie Kohn, I'm sending it to my Mom! Then I'll post her "one-
liner". But for now, I'll find and read the article and figure out
how Kohn got this paper published.
:-) edwin
P.S. - Don't worry about me being in this group. I know there are
mothers that post here. In the LogoForum, it's mostly guys who post
and respond. And you know guys ... we love beating up on each other.

To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
