Chris, Your OWL program sounds wonderful. And even though you are hoping for
a MicroWorlds teacher to come to Denver to support your efforts, I am more
excited about the idea of seeing what we here who have signed on to the
MWcybercourse list can do to support your efforts from a distance. Maybe
your OWL program could be a good way to test out some of the initial
materials we might post. And I do think that the members of MWcybercourse
form a MicroWorlds users group of sorts. (There are plenty of MicroWorlds
users at the LogoForum, too, even though they are not among the most prolific
contributors.)
I wonder if you would share with us the types of MicroWorlds projects you've
already tackled as well as the types of projects or specific programming
skills for which you would like some support. That way maybe some of us
could start working on preparing some relevant distance materials to post
online for you to try. We might as well start somewhere, and instead of
designing materials for hypothetical future users, I like the idea of
creating some materials for a real and immediate audience of MicroWorlds
learners.

To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
