Hello Jean, Pat and others,
Welcome. Yes it can seem overwhelming at times but if you dig through
the noise there is useful information to be had here and in the Logo
group. Lately the noise to signal ratio has been a bit high but
eventually these spurts tend to quite themselves down (think of them as
sunspots).
Jean the work you did with the kids sounds really interesting. Do you or
your school have a web page? Did the activity take place all in one day
or was it over a period of days? How much prior experience do you all
have (kids and teachers) with Logo? Getting those projects up on the web
along with a write-up would be a great contribution to the project.
You mention that you are looking for a basic (really basic) course. It
would help me and perhaps others if you could expand on just what it is
you need and want in a logo course. This goes for the rest of the people
on the list, we (I) need ideas from those of you in the early stages of
learning Logo.
What books have you read? Specifically have you read 'Teaching with
Logo' by the Watt's? What other lessons have you taken? How have you
gotten to the point you're at now?
The more input from you folks the better any course that comes out of
this will meet you goals.
regards

Re: I found your code!
To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
