First, Frank, I also didn't realize for a long time that all of the online
projects were being cached on our own computers until you wrote to tell me
some time ago (when you wrote to ask about adapting my money project, as I
recall, and told me how you got it). I have happily made use of that
knowledge ever since. Thanks!
Second, I have an easier way of determining which file you are looking for
(when you say "these filenames are meaningless"). I just check the source
code on the web page containing the project, and in the case of MicroWorlds
projects (including MWPro) I look for this line... in fact, I did this just
yesterday with your "numbers" project which you shared with the LogoForum,
because I was very curious to see your procedures. ... the line is:
[Unable to display image]
... only of course the name preceding "mw2" will be the file name of the
project one is looking for, and the width and height will change depending on
the size of the embedded project.
Then when I find the file name in the page's source code, I can simply do a
"find file" on my machine for that file name. Or if I do open the Temporary
Internet Folder directly, I just sort alphabetically by name (not file
type... too many types in there!) and easily find the file name I want. I
also like to copy the file to a preferred folder location and rename it, as
you do... but you don't have to open the project in order to do this. I
renamed yours "numbersbyFrank" and then made another copy called
"numbersbyWendy" so that I could mess around with it without ruining your
original.
And if anyone on MWcybercourse doesn't know how to find the source code of a
web page, on a PC you just right-click on the page and select "view source
code" from the menu which appears. I think maybe you CTRL-click on the page
for Macs. There is also a way to access it from the top pull-down menus, but
it varies by browser.

To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
