Subject: sound on Mac to web

I need to publicly thank Wendy for her extraordinary help, effort, and time in
trying to resolve my WebStar problem. It is not resolved, but I do understand
it better thanks to her intelligent investigation of it.

Has anyone solved the problem of sound recordings in a MW (I'm using v2.03)
project on a Mac when trying to save for a web page? When the file is exported
the file is saved as a .mw2 file and a sound recording in the project is saved
as a separate AIFF file. This does not load correctly in a browser when
viewing the corresponding .html file. (AIFF may not be cross-platform).
Converting the sound to WAV and correcting the procedure to reflect the new
name doesn't seem to work either. This is as far as I got so far.

Anyone tackled this?

  • To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
