Interesting changing the relative size of the screen opening and the
mosquito. Also the position of the bait inside the enclosure can be
changed.

The programmer need not be concerned about letting a too-large mosquito
inside. I even had one mosquito get inside the bait but leave *through*
the screen without chowing down. Guess he was not hungry or sensed a she
mosquito outside the screen and wanted to tell her about their good fortune.

But I had not included a she mosquito in the model. Very strange.

Not only that. Once when I clicked on the Find button the screen started
jumping around looking for the bait with the mosquito looking on in
astonishment. Me too.

At the risk of offending any Environmentalists on the listserv I must say
that all of this reminds me of the Global Warming modeling. Dale

  • To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
