Just thought folks might like to know about this. I am teaching a college
level course called Technobiology in which we explore biological concepts with
technology (Programming in Logo and Robotics). I gave them all a list of web
sites to check out (homework) as part of their initial instructions and
learning of Logo. They were supposed to rank their favorites and tell why. Now
this is only a pole of 10 students (small because that is all the computers I
have) and they are non-major freshmen. But hand down they picked Mathcats.
However, Logo Foundation and Geocities also were rankedvery high. Also
unusual, they ALL BUT 1 mentioned the Ndadhoo 'aah site, not as helpful but as
intriguing because of the juxtaposition of Old and New.

  • To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
