Yes, you explained the solution he came up with much more elegantly than I
did. Thanks!

This is a beautiful example of what problem-solving with Logo is
all about! Please congratulate your student for us.
(I think you're telling us that when the turtle gets to the end
of one line, it points downward in a south-easterly direction --
such as seth 135 -- and moves forward some more so that as it
wraps and reappears on the left side of the page, it is also in a
lower position on the page, below the morse code it had already
stamped, and then it resets its heading to 90 degrees so that it
can continue printing morse code letters in a straight line
again. Yes? That is indeed ingenious, and a much simpler
solution than the one I had supplied.)
I think the nicest part of your message was not just that the
problem was solved, or that it was solved elegantly by putting
the wrap feature to good use, but that your student came to this
solution himself. Yay!

To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
