Sorry of the cross posting. I intend to build up a project ("Logo to Schools 2002-2003") with several people to make Logo familiar to Finnish teachers, students, parents etc. from elementary level to high schools. I belonged to a group of teachers and parents, who founded a computer club in an elementary school in Helsinki 1983. We used Apple Logo for years. I have been out of those activities over ten years, but interested in Logo use again. What does the Logo world looks like today? I need your help to go on. I know they don't use Logo very much in our schools today. So, most of the experience to share must come from abroad. I'd like to get world wide information about teachers, other people, schools, school clubs, home and school associations, universities, software companies etc., who or which are familiar to Logo use. Please, send me contact information, hints to find networked examples of Logo use, Logo language, books, newsletters, studies and other papers about experiences at different school levels, results, success stories, future plans, use also of LegoLogo, Mindstorms, robotics, MicroWorlds ... what ever you find essential in this matter. Is there European experience in Logo? If so, we could even build up a Europe wide European Union project round the subject some day. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file. | |||||||||
