Just sending this along to help the process get started. This semester I have
been working with three college students using Logo. One has produced a
version of the Game of Life, another has created a program that types in Morse
Code instead of alphabet letters. Both were helped tremendously by feed back
from this group. The third student is creating a multi-page display of some
of the things that MW can do, such as turtle math, geometry. word processing
etc. She calls it "turtle goes job hunting". She is learning a lot. Perhaps
the most important thing she has learned so far is the concept of story
boarding which she had never done.
This summer, I will be helping with the Logo Summer Workshop in Montrose,
Colorado. This is sponsored by both the Logo Foundation and Mesa State
College. It is a one week immersion experience where you can explore MW or
several different robotic platforms, including the Lego's Robolab, the
Cricket, etc. In the evenings we visit Ouray Colorado and the hot springs
pool, tour gold mines, visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison River, and just
in general have a great time. Come see us.

To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
