Sounds wonderful, Gary. My oldest grandchild is only three and I am just
introducing her to Kid Pix, but can't wait to get to Microworlds!!!

This list has been pretty quiet lately. So just by way of discussion I
will tell you about a fun little project I am starting. I have two
grandchildren (well actually I have 9, but only two old enough for this
project) who are 5 and 8. I sent them Microworlds last week and they now have
it installed. Today I sent them an e-mail telling them about their new pet
turtle and how it knows tricks if you know turtle talk. I told them how to
use fd and home. They are supposed to e-mail me back with a response and I
will send them another command or two. =20
I don't know how far this will go, or how I will handle getting them to
use what they know creatively etc. down the road. But it should be a fun
experiment. If I come across interesting experiences I will share them.
Perhaps thee are other folks out there who would like to try something like
this with children they are connected to.

Thanks for letting me know the forum works, Gary!! I
had hoped to get tome suggestions for presenting MW in
a Montessori environment, but not one peep! Still
summer I guess!

I will look forward to more on your progress with your
grand kids!

Lauren
