Hi Jeanne,
Thanks for the feedback. I'm curious why you'd want to demo only seth, and
not the companion turning commands, lt and rt? Or the associated moving
commands, fd and bk? Do you mean you'd like a separate page for each of
those? That might be a really good idea, especially for very young students.
It would be pretty easy to make it like that.
Did you notice the program is organized to help distinguish those turning and
moving commands from the coordinate commands, setx, sety and setpos? These
are two different "mindsets" for moving around on a graphics field: the former
an "on-the-floor" turtle's-eye, horizontal view of the action; the latter an
"on-the-ceiling" or vertical point-of-view. You may also notice, the program
demonstrates how these two approaches can be freely mixed in the same drawing.
It seems to me those are all important insights for students at some level.
Since you didn't mention anything about the setheading textbox misbehaving,
may I assume it is working properly for you? Wendy suggested I send this to
the forum expressly to find out if others experience the same problem she is
having with it. I'm surprised no one has offered us any information about
that.

I se that I had to unfreeze things to remove them. I have just the program I
want now. Have No idea how it works but it does what I want it to. :)
Thanks!

I have MWXP on this machine. I opened it and I would really like to have JUST
the grid the compas the little red turtle and setheading box. I know it the
seth shows at the bottom of the screen, but I think this would be a really
neat program to demo seth. I can't figure out how to remove everything else
and just have what I want as the project.
Thanks for any help.

To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
