Hi All,
Well, there appears to be no end to subtle aspects of different versions of
MicroWorlds to take into account. Wendy advises me,"I know it's true that
those with MW 2.0_ and no other versions of MW cannot open compressed files..."
I'm very sensitive to the issue of compulsory 30-minute downloads for
dial-uppers, owing to my several "friends" who persist in sending me allegedly
humorous video clips and billboard-sized photos from their fancy new digital
cameras. Many of you with DSL have either forgotten or never knew what the
rest of us go through.
Yesterday I discovered that projects posted on LCSI's Project Library can be
downloaded from there. Since Shawn has invited me to place this Project
there, I'll do that. Then I can just advise everybody of new updates, along
with the address, and those who want to may download it. No more compulsory
thumb-twiddling!
My goodness, it's snowing outside. And this is coastal California in April!
Now, Wendy also says this, "I still see rapidly flickering numbers in the
setpos box when I am using auto-draw, even when the mouse is still, and the
flicker is so bad as to render the text box useless until auto-draw is
stopped. I am actually surprised that no one else has reported this
condition. It is very puzzling to me!"
Actually, I'm very surprised no one has said anything about it one way or the
other. Come on, guys (in the gender-neutral sense), give us some feedback on
this, please. Do you, or do you not, have this problem?
Wow! Now it's snowing really hard. Huge flakes.
Regards,
--Jeff
P.S.: I was wrong. Those weren't huge flakes. These are.

To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
