Daniel, Thanks for the referral. Very interesting organization (not to mention a masterful website). However....in their FAQs I find this: Can I use a Creative Commons license for software? CC licenses are not written for software. They should not be used for software. We strongly encourage you to use one of the very good software licenses available today. (The Free Software Foundation or the Open Source Initiative stand out as resources for such licenses.) Unlike our licenses -- which do not make mention of source or object code -- these existing licenses were designed specifically for use with software. --Jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: "Daniel Ajoy" <dajoy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <mwforum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2005 9:10 AM Subject: Re: Zehava Composer II > On 21 Apr 2005 at 5:25, Jean Stringer wrote: > >> I noticed the copyright on the project, does that mean we >> cannot use it or show it to others for them to use? > > Jeff, > > Wouldn't you rather change your copyright to one of > the Creative Commons licences? > > http://creativecommons.org/learnmore > > Daniel > OpenWorld Learning > > > > > ***************************** > OpenWorld Learning > http://www.openworldlearning.org > > > _______________________________________________ > MWForum mailing list > MWForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > http://lists.mathcats.com/mailman/listinfo/mwforum > Attachments archived at: > http://www.mathcats.com/mwforum/attachments.html > To unsubscribe or for administrative questions contact > mailto:mwforum-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Daniel,

A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file. | |||||||
