A few ideas to share:

1. Break down and purchase a copy of VirtualPC. This program is well worth the 
$200 investment for a single-user version.

2. I believe it is still possible to obtain and use a copy of the free 
Microworlds 2.0 Player for non-web environment viewing of MW projects.

3. A while back, the techniques for extracting from cache storage, MW projects 
embedded within web pages were discussed on this forum. Many projects 
available on the internet are 2.0 player accessible.
