Not sure if you could "drag and drop" animated gifs in MW pro, but you can
certainly import them.

I can drag and drop animted GIFs into MW EX with no problem, but I've tried
everything possible to drag and drop (or import) animated GIFs into MW Pro
with no success (even if the animated GIF has just a few images and I've
made sure to have enough empty shapes). Are you *sure* you can drag and
drop (or otherwise import) animated GIFs with MW Pro? If so, please tell me
step by step what I must do. I'm only able to get the first image to
appear, not the whole animation.

There is a simple way of importing animated gifs into MW pro. Is there a
simple way of doing the
same into MW ex?

To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
