Hi Jean,

In MW there are a number of different object types that could be referred to as "sounds" - there are notes (or chords), melodies, and MP3 or MIDI music. The "rules of the road" are a little different for each. Also, there are a number of different ways to initiate them - calls from Command Center or from procedures (which may be either simple calls or launches), clicking on a turtle, or clicking on an icon.

These are the things you should try to be specific about in answering Daniel's question. Also, make sure your speaker is turned on!

I'm about to hit the road for a few weeks, and likely won't be available for any more input about this. Good luck.

Jeff

Hi,
I'm having trouble getting embedded sounds to play, both those on the screen and in the
backpack. I have also tried putting the sounds in the same folder as the project with no
success. Any advice you could give me would be helpful.
Thanks

  • To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
