Thanks for thinking of me, Dale! I just finished reading Levitin's book but
hadn't checked out his web site yet. Interestingly, I have my own research
area
in this field where I have been exploring the effects of music and Logo on
learning for several years now. Unfortunately, I am at a small school and
don't
have the support Levitin has. But I did just return from a conference in Utah
in last August where I lectures to several hundred people about learning and
the
brain and how both music, Logo and art can help build better minds for
abstraction than just enriching science and math programs. Anyway, I now have
him book marked. I have some serious theories about how the young brain
develops and how Logo (and music and art) can help prepare better engineers,
mathematicians, scientists and business men and women.

To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
