Hello logo people,
I was recently given the assignment of teaching a once a month 2 hour class to
6th and 7th HCL students (highly capable learners). I am trying to put
together a curriculum of 5 sessions for two hours each.
The first project I developed taught basic turtle commands and procedures. Of
course, the students loved it. I plan to post my projects to a web page
(www.bham.wednet.edu/studentgal/HCLP/ Warning--this site is still under
construction and I haven't figured out yet why my last project creates an
error message when downloading--I will fix that soon). I hope to eventually
have all the projects that I use posted there to share with other logo
teachers.
I am looking for sources and ideas for four more projects that would build on
each other and be challenging to HCL students. In the next project I am hoping
to include variables, more commands, and ???. The project should be doable in
2 hours and challenging for a group of smart kids (but not too challenging for
the non-HCL teacher!).
If anyone on this forum has suggestions for sources of good projects that meet
these requirements or for specific projects that that are available online and
that are appropriate for this age and ability group, I would appreciate
hearing about them.
Thanks very much in advance!

Re: Suggestions for good projects?
To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
