I sometimes give lectures on Logo to parents or teacher groups. I give them a
computer presentation that includes graphics, animations, sounds etc. that is
far beyond what Powerpoint can do. They invariably want to know how I do
that with "powerpoint". Of course, the entire presentation is done in
Microworlds. ;-)

Works beautifully!

I know this might sound kind of boring but one thing I plan to try next
year with my 6th graders is to use MicroWorlds several times during the
year to emulate normal productivity programs like word and excel so they
understand how they function behind the scenes. We'll emulate SOME
features, mind you, not try to create fully functioning programs.

Thanks, Erik

  • To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
