Hi, I am a lecturer at the University of New England in Australia. I
have been interested in Logo for the last 20 plus years and using
MicroWorlds I have created nearly 200 projects mainly in the area of
mathematics. You may like to look at the website in the signature
below for an overview of the material that I have available.
I have been the coordinator of a unit on Logo at the university for
many years.
I love using MicroWorlds to create projects that help young children
understand concepts and to provide an environment for them to do some
problem solving. I love even more the problem solving that I have to
do to create the projects.
My Broken Calculator project I find very satisfying. An early version
of it exists on the Mathcats website.
This group is helpful in that sometimes a problem can be discussed
and a solution or idea provided to overcome it.
