In MicroWorlds 2.0, the transparent color was 0 (zero).  You could use it in a 
shape, if you wanted shapes to be partly see through.  Or you could use it to 
"erase" part of a drawing.  I'm sure there are other uses as well.  I used to 
show my students how I could make a ghost partly see through.  In MicroWorlds 
EX, I assumed that if I set the opacity using the setopacity word or using the 
slider in the paint tools, I would have the same effect.  I've used various 
versions of Logo since 1982, but this is my first few months with EX, so I'm 
just learning again.

  • To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
