In the firefox 3 beta, you can do this perfectly like normal. It is tricky to find the link to download firefox 3, though. Here is the link:

Hi Daniel,

while we don't officially support the .mw2 plugin under Firefox (Firefox didn't exist when the plugin was released) you can usually get it to work by performing the following:

- run the installer and install to IE

- copy the contents of IE's Plugins folder to Firefoxes Plugins folder.

Let me know how it goes.

How do I install the mw2 webplayer on Firefox?

When I run

mwplugin.exe

it only detects Internet Explorer.

I copied the files in

C:\Program Files\LCSI\MicroWorlds Web Player\

to

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\

but that didn't work.

  • To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
