You can look at the "dropping balls" in the samples. There is a "seed" ball
at the top, and when you click on Start, this "seed" is being cloned (using
the command clone) and "clicked on" using the command clickon. A canon is
very very similar, pointing up instead of down.
The seed is a turtle that contains all the right elements of programming for
"being" a ball (shape, onclick instruction, procedure (if any)).

How would you launch fireballs or some other weapon from the player's
turtle to "shoot" obstacles? Does anyone have an example? I am thinking
each "fireball" would be a turtle that collides with other turtles but I
am getting confused on how to make them appear as if they are being
"shot" from the player's turtle.

Thanks!
Dawn

  • To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
