This is what the Help has to say about the FILL command:

fill

Fills a closed area with the turtle's pen color. If the area is not perfectly 
closed, the paint "leaks" onto the entire page. Fill works regardless of the 
turtle's pen state (up or down).

Given that there is a turtle on the page:

pd
repeat 4 [fd 50 rt 90]
rt 45 pu fd 5
setc "yellow
fill
