how do i create lives for a game that my partner and i are making for a school project....

A slider can tell you how many lives the character has.

You set it with:

setslider1 3

or if you change the name of the slider1 to "lives", then:

setlives 3

Then, when the character dies, you call this procedure:

to kill
if lives < 1 [stop]
setlives lives - 1
if lives < 1 [announce [game over]]
end

  • To save an attachment to your computer, PC users should right-click (Mac users, click and hold the mouse button) on the link and then choose 'save target as' from the pop-up menu. A window will then pop up in which you can choose a location for the file.
